I missed my flight. All I can get is a bus on Saturday night. So I’m taking the goddamn thing because I will see Dali if it kills me.
I thought you were train-ing it down here! Either way, it is worth it, trust me.
And I’m so sorry that I haven’t been able to write back to you yet, life has been hectic (which makes for a lot of writing, I guess), but I’ll get to it...

In my absence I have:
- Spent a day chasing a plane that could not land in Adelaide due to the weather and after circling the airport for an hour had to go all the way to Melbourne to replenish fuel sources. Airports are useless and do not bother to tell you this. - Nursed a very sick boyfriend back to health. This involved the cleaning of vomit. - Written an essay.

Things.
1. I GOT A JOB. In the time that I have been unemployed (nannying excluded because it paid terribly ans was cash in hand) I could have conceived and had a baby.

I don’t actually understand what a homecoming queen is. Or what homecoming is. I assume it has something to do with footballers, but that is based entirely on Grease.
Perchance, coming generations will not abide the dissolution of the globe, but,...

I wish I could understand how he puts up with my senseless freak-outs and teary high-pitched break-downs. But I can’t express how glad I am that he does.
I post on Tumblr when I’m depressed, or when I’m lonely. If you look back on my archive you can see my depression grow and fade and return. It’s always strongest in the winter months. It is the seventeenth minute of the twelfth day of Spring. I hope it will be better than the eleventh. I’m scared of the twelfth day. I’m never lonely in the sense that most people...
The Corpse - Charles Baudelaire
Remember, my soul, the sight of a dear Summer’s dawn, where the path split A corpse on a bed of rocks, feet Splayed like a prostitute, dripping And bubbling poisons, baring Her chest with that tired, familiar Look — and filled with a breath… The sun was shining on the wreck, As if to cook it up, to render back To nature all the parts that once Were...
